What is 'networking'? Networking can be defined as developing relationships or 'contacts', or building partnerships that support you while you map out your career goals. Networking can also be as simple as sharing information with those who see its value, but at all times is ongoing and reciprocal in nature.

Networking - when done well - can help you achieve your aspirations and can certainly open up new and exciting options through the people you know, and the people who know you.

A life skill that should be honed well before you actively need it, the Barnardian community provides a ready made network within which sits untapped value and opportunity.
